March Madness (In a good way)

Oopsie--March is getting by fast and I need to record what's going on.
Hope has been busy with ballet and biscuit making and doing
a great job, too.

Sweet friends in Connection Group had a tea party for my birthday

Alicia, Jaree, Kirsten, and Julie--I love these girls

Sweet Ashley worked so hard preparing a delicious supper and a beautiful table.
We were all together for a wonderful  evening.

Lynn and Lance managed to find a beautiful day for golf

I played papparazzi and tried to get a picture without them knowing

Hope loves decorating--even her lunch plate

March 14-19 was Homeschool Nationals in Springfield.
Lady Knights were seeded #2 to begin.

After losing the first two and winning the next three--
these lovely ladies won their division's
National Championship game!!
From left-Tammie Terry (world's best coach),  Talley, Rachel,
Gabby, Skyler, Anna, Leah, Alicia, Destinee, the star Anna. and Rachel

We were so excited to win but so bummed to think that ends basketball for the next five months.
Wasn't this a terribly exciting post?  I thought so :).  This is a great way to scrapbook, though.
More excitement to come.

Happy Birthday, Lucy!!!

Over at Lucy's blog http://www.politicsandpolkadots.blogspot.com/
today she is featuring our favorite cleaning products
by Melaleuca so here at A Purposeful Home I'm
going to feature our favorite daughter-in-law, Lucy; because
it's her birthday and because this is my blog and I want to :).

Lucy has been part of our life for two years now and part of the
family since October 9 when she married Lance.  Good decision,
Lance.  Lucy majored in International Business, minored in Chinese,
has made two trips to China, has a heart for Chinese orphans--
are we seeing an international flair, here?
She is everything we could ask for in a daughter-in-law.
Mainly, our two desires for our children-in-law are that
they love our children with all their hearts and that they
love the Lord even more.  She meets both criteria.
Happy Birthday, Lucy!!  May God give you a wonderful day.
You're a blessing to the family.  We love you.  And you, too, Lance :).

Some More of February

a little bit of snow

actually a lot of snow

baking and biscuits

On our way to the State Tournament we were forced
to stop in Russellville and eat at the
famous  What-a-Burger

This tournament brought Anna the joy of an injured
wrist.  Damaged ligaments and jammed
together bones--and two missed games--
fun fun!!

Sweet girls who were disappointed to not take
1st place
Here's some more of our Feb. doings.
